While I've had three tattoos done previously, they all have been fairly short sessions (1 to 3 hours). I have an appointment next week for a more complex piece than any of my others. The appointment is for 6 hours, although the artist said it may only take 4 (he prefers to have extra time for appointments in case it's needed).
Any advice on preparing for such a long session? I plan to eat beforehand and take some ibuprofen. Might bring a snack with me as well. I thought about bringing headphones to listen to podcasts during too.
*Edit* Thanks for the advice and feedback all!
