HELP! Should I cover this up or how can I improve this candle that starts to look… phallic?

When I got the tattoo the design looked beautiful and the artist really does some lovely ones... but as time goes by I do not see “a candle” anymore and I am bothered by it, specially the “plate” turning out uneven. I am unsure if I should enhance it to look more like a candle (not sure how) or to transform it to something else. I have lots of tattoos and this is the only one I regret a bit. I also do not mean to hurt the tattoo artist’s feelings although it has been about a year since I got it.
