Does anyone have any memories or photos of what Hobart airport looked like inside in the 80s, 90s or 00s?
Post Body

Just curious as to what the interior of the terminal looked like in the time period above vs now. I heard it used to look like a tin shed. Thanks.

Departures was like a normal small town terminal, they used to have international flights between South Island of NZ and Hobart for a whole. Baggage claim was a tin shed addition to the terminal and they would drive the baggage carts into it and you would get your bags off the cart if I remember correctly

I think there was only 2 departure lounges? Like half the size it is now. It was such a long time ago, there was one for ansett and Qantas?

No, I left Tassie in 2006 and have only been back a few times since and never flew international from Hobart.
