Series 1 first time viewing

Started rewatching earlier this year from 6 onwards as that's whats UKTV player - swiitched to 4 & finished on 16. Then I realised every episode from Series 1 onwards is up there, so started from scratch. It seems like a different tone, the elements are all there but they haven't quite settled into the TM we love today - don't get me wrong, I am loving it. But it seems so different to todays TM, it took a while to adjust.
