Getting conflicting readings/getting disenchanted with Tarot

So I know with Tarot things can always change but recently I did readings around a situation and got extremely different readings. These readings were just a few months apart, again enough time for things to change I know. This however has made me not want to pick up the cards or at least the deck I have been using (I only have one right now) and thinking about getting another deck to have a clean slate. Has this ever happened to someone and how did you deal with it?
