Where do you believe the energy/magic comes from for tarot?

Title basically, but I’m curious what the spectrum of belief is for tarot users (not sure of that is the correct terminology).
Do you believe a god is moving the cards?
Do you believe a spirit guide is moving the cards?
Is there magic/consciousness in the cards themselves?
Are the cards simply a conduit for the power within yourself?
Are the cards simply a conduit for your subconscious to work out issues?
Or maybe it’s ‘I don’t give a fuck where it comes from because the cards help me’?
