Using Google as a tool

I do readings for some of my friends and I sometimes forget the meaning of cards. I joke that I have to pause to āconsult the spiritsā and need to Google the card meaning. I will use a book if I have it on me but I donāt often.
Is this an alright practice on my way to learning or does it reduce the effectiveness of the read?
