Death Card

Post Body

I was a very skeptical kid. I grew up with parents that taught me to question even them so when my mom got a tarot deck i was skeptical. However at one point when I was like 11 I sat down a cleared my mind and said (I know this is highly vague) what is the general course of my life. What should I expect. I shuffled and pulled the death card. That freaked me out so I put it back shuffled and proceeded to pull it 2 more times. I didn't tell anyone of even look for what it actually ment for years.

Now at 33 I have found it a good metaphor for life. Things come and things go. Periods of life come to an end and that should be seen as an opportunity to become more and grow into new things and at the end of it all death is the only for sure thing. I've recently been thinking about getting it tattooed as a reminder to myself of all the things I have taken from that.

That being said I don't actually know much about tarot and wanted to get some more feedback. I don't want to tattoo something on me without looking into it more. While it might have it's meaning to me I want a more insightful look.
