Hello! I am fairly new to tarot. I have done a few self readings, and have had friends who have let me do readings for them. I have always been interested in tarot and other occult things and when doing theses readings they have always been pretty shocked and said “wow I feel like that is pretty accurate”
I have a few tarot decks and a couple of them came with a book to describe each card and their meanings. I did notice though, each deck that came with a book has varying meanings and aren’t typically similar. (Sometimes they are closer in meaning)
When watching videos or seeing other tarot readings being done, I’ve also noticed a lot of people are able to just say “this card means xyz” without any guidance from a “book”
So I guess I’m just wondering, how does one just “know” what’s the process to getting there, is it more of an intuition thing, or is it being able to memorize the default meaning of the cards?
Any advice helps, as I would like to continue being able to do tarot, but I feel really insecure about it because I often rely on my little meaning book to get the answers.
Thanks so much! <3
