Well it was down wayyy longer than I planned but I am happy to say Tarnation is officially back online and back to normal!!!

Now for some transparency: I am so sorry to everyone for Tarnation being down over the holidays. It was NEVER my intention to have it be down so long. I planned on bringing it back up ASAP but then I noticed that hMod still hadn't been updated. So when I finally got back to my Mom's house minecraft.net was down. "No problem," I thought. "I'll set it up, shut it down and bring it back online like normal tomorrow morning!" So the next morning I turn on my Mom's 8 year old computer and there is no internet connection!? No problem. I'll powercycle the router/modem! That didn't work. So while I was running around my hometown seeing friends my mom had a cable technician come out to the house. Apparently the whole neighborhood had signal problems and since they were literally at the back of the neighborhood/end of the line they had it the worst. I can only imagine how many months they have been paying for internet service that was crazy slow or just plain not working. Well the good news is I am safely back home to my apartment and the server appears to be running fine. I have the next few days off work so I plan on doing some server maintenance and finally get the website launched. Again I am so sorry for the extended downtime and hope you all still want to play at Tarnation. Hope to see you soon!
