1.6 has been unofficially released today by Mojang. You are free to go ahead and start playing on the new version, but we will not be able to officially update the server until an update for Bukkit comes out, along with some other plugins is needed. So if you would like to still play on the server, we recommend that you have a backup of our current version to play.

We do not have an estimated time of when the server will update, you will just have to be patient and wait for a post here on the subreddit.
