Getting Started:

• Contact Eliasar or myself and let us know you want to create an NPC.
• If you would like your Trader NPC to be visit-able by everyone on the server, see about having your town buy an Embassy plot on the Marketplace Island. (You can find a warp sign at spawn.)

Interacting:

Right Click the NPC

• Opens the selling window, here the players will select what item they wish to purchase from the NPC

Right Click the Item

• Displays a price of the item

Left Click the Item

• Opens the final sales window, from here a player can right click again for stack price, or left click to purchase the stack

Left Click the NPC

• This will open the buy window for NPC, currently players need to just drag and drop items to the inventory and close the window, unpurchased items are dropped if NPC can't purchase these items (soon they will not be able to be dropped into the inventory if NPC can't purchase them)

Adding Stock:

Right Click the NPC with a BOOK in your hand

• This will open an inventory screen where you can place any items you want to sell, if an ADMIN shop these items will not be reduced with sales, but you still need to put 64 (or max stack) of an item to get a full listing of amount in sales window.

Linked Chests

• If you have linked chests, adding stock is as easy as opening the chest that is linked to the trader, and adding what you want to it.

To set the prices of a Trader

/trader sellprice #.##

• Then right click the trader with the item you are pricing

/trader buyprice #.##

• Then right click the trader with the item you are pricing

/trader (buyprice|sellprice) remove

• Will remove the buy or sell price from the Traders pricelist.

There are some additional things you can do for the trader

1. Link Chests: This will allow you to link some chests to the trader, this will override his personal inventory and use the chests instead. /trader linkchest

2. Link NPCs: This will allow you to link to another NPC you own, and use his price list, this does nothing ot the inventory, you will only use the other traders already setup pricelist for buy and sell /trader link <npcname>

Regarding the wallet of an NPC trader:

• It is by DEFAULT private in other words, he holds is own money, and the owner can give and take as he pleases.

There are other types of wallets:

• TOWN_BANK, this will link a Traders account to the towns bank (REQUIRES towny to be installed, and you to be owner of the NPC and mayor/assistant of a town)

Wallet commads:

/trader wallet balance

• Check the balance of the selected NPC.

/trader wallet take

• Withdraw money from the NPC account.

/trader wallet give

• Deposit money to the NPC account.
