Will RJ be back for a 5th year?
Post Body

Do you guys think RJ will be back for his fifth and final COVID year? I didn't even realize he had eligibility, I thought bacot's class was the last COVID year eligible class..

But with that being said the only player on the roster who has ANY draft stock is Ingram who would maybe go in mid second round.

If RJ was 4 inches taller he'd be a lottery pick but he's only 5-11 maybe 6 foot even on a good day.

Everyone has betted against him his whole career so I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he made a d league roster and eventually stepped foot on an NBA court, but the NBA is completely different than 20 years ago. The one person who comes to mind is Kyle Lowry though. Similar size similar game. But as of right now RJ wouldn't be drafted unless he has a kemba walker type run to a national championship.

With that being said if he comes back next year we're STACKED.

Elliott will be back.. Ingram probably back.. Jalen Washington will be a stud at the 5 and we've got two top 10 recruits in Drake Powell and Jackson coming in. Throw in RJ again and we're a top 5 team easily.

I wish we could just do away with all limits for the two revenue sports. Pay the athletes directly on one year contracts and let them stay as long as they want. We have great talent, and none of it is 'NBA type talent' so with the current core, we could be perpetually be a contender without having to replace too much.

In the world where everybody transfers or goes pro so fast, we could capitalize on keeping people here.
