Town editing tools

So I've been playing TSTO for 5 or 6 years. Much of my early town is fairly well organized. Items from the last couple of years are more hastily added with no streets, decor, etc.
I've always played on my phone. For a big remodel, I can see much space so thinking my phone is not the best option. What is everyone else using to play/edit their towns? Are you using a large tablet? Is there an other?
