Hi! This is a followup to the previous post:
Marian E. Dunn; Jan E. Trost (1989). Male multiple orgasms: A descriptive study; Arch Sex Behav. 1989 Oct;18(5):377-87. doi:10.1007/bf01541970
Interesting study of different kinds of MMOs. Quite small, only 21 men, including only two who intentionally taught themselves how to do it, and only three who used some form of the kegel trick, probably because it was a very small sample and the research was done in the 1980s, before many people knew about MMOs and the kegel trick.
If they did the same research now, on a larger scale, I think most of the men who could have MMOs would be ones who had learned the kegel trick. But this report really emphasizes that you don't have to do it that way.
I also found it interesting that both of the intentionally self-taught men had used the squeeze &/or start-stop methods for PE before learning to have NEOs. This is something my husband also did. (Like Shakti I helped my guy learn how to have MMOs, but that was several years after we dealt with his PE problem.)
If you have trouble reaching the link above, you may have to change the letters after "sci-hub" in the URL from "ee" to something else: https://sci-hub.ee -> https://sci-hub.??
To find the current address, just google "sci-hub." You can usually find a working address in the first few hits. If none of the links to a current address work, you may need to use a VPN set for another country.
Here's the paywalled original with the abstract:

My favorite part:
We were able to interview the female partners of 14 of our subjects. The women were all sexually experienced and could describe the difference between sexual response in our subjects and other sexual partners. All noted that the multiply orgasmic men seemed to reach peaks of excitement, had the respiratory and motoric changes that generally accompany orgasm, yet did not detumesce and were able to have continued cycles of orgasmic experience.
That's been my experience, too, but i wish they had asked these women how they felt about their partners' abilities. I, for one, am a big fan! I love it! :)
