Question for palm beach tan employees
Post Body

I’ve been tanning at a PBT location near my house. I signed up in October. There are beds with lamps out (same ones still out) I tanned in the base bed at a different location and I asked if their beds had lamps out, so I could avoid that bed, and the girl looked at me, and was like.... no, we change them immediately. So I said that’s not what they said at the salon I usually go to. So, this was just a long way of asking what the policy on burned out lamps is. If my salon is just lazy, I will end up going to the further away salon.

Comments

I worked at a palm beach tan in college, and one of the opening tasks is to turn on some of the tanning beds and make sure all of the bulbs are working. They don’t check every bed every day, but it should be frequent enough that there shouldn’t be bulbs out. It sounds like the people are being lazy at your location... which they could get in trouble for if the regional manager found out or if they got a complaint.
