Brushless ecs and motor.

I have a Tamiya brushless esc table 02s I believe. I have brushless motor. The esc is flashing code that it needs a sensor cable attached to motor. My issue is that the motor I have does not have a sensor cable plug on it to plug one in. How can I work around this if I can at all?
