Despite being a fairly bright guy (I know I'm not Tesla) people act like I'm actually mentally disabled. People constantly patronize me and ask if I need help with any simple task I try, they assume I haven't read anything, they act like any minor act of math or memory is a miracle. Given that I am pretty smart this gets really repetitive when I'm around strangers (people who know me don't act like this.) Is it just me? I feel like Carel Struycken had a point when he stopped playing thugs, I think there may be some actual assumptions about very tall people.
