Hi TFTS, long time reader...first time poster. I work on the Helpdesk of a Managed Services Provider and today, one of my clients' users caused a massive FACEPALM in re-opening a ticket. In our ticketing system, users can reply to a ticket via email in order to correspond or open/close tickets. This ticket was already closed.
Client Desktop Support Email to Herpaderp @ 8:20 AM: It has been over 3 business days since we have heard a response in regards to this ticket. We are going to close this ticket out. If you believe this is still an ongoing issue, please open a new ticket and this will be addressed at that time.
Herpaderp's response Email had no body but merely a signature.

At 8:20 AM this morning I received an email asking me to reopen.
