My coworker finally got her second monitor. When she turned it on, the light came on but there was nothing on the monitor. The rest of the people in my office tried to help her figure out what was wrong. They checked the cords made sure everything was plugged in and had power. Then told her to contact help desk to have them figure out what was wrong.

I finished my call. walked over. moved the mouse to the second monitor. then moved her open window to new monitor. She had no wall paper and the default color of her background is black.

The was nothing wrong. I am not in IT.

Update: she said to me

"Please don't tell anyone, it'll look really stupid"

She now has wallpaper.
