Sometimes the tech is the problem..
Post Body

So today I am doing work on multiple computers in a community center "computer room".

The building hasn't had any power ran to the room for the computers yet, so I am using a heavy duty extension cord and a power strip so I can work on 3 at once so that they are all ready when power does get ran.

Not a problem, high amp circuits everywhere except where I need them. (old firehouse, turned into a community center)

All of these computers were freshly wiped, don't even have drivers installed yet, just Vista. So I have already been there 1/2 the day, have three computers plugged in and all updates on two, still waiting on the third (damn Vista).

I figure I will unplug the two that are complete from the power strip and plug in another two.

And accidently turned off the whole strip in the process.

Vista is not happy when you turn it off during installation of updates.

Said screw it, unplugged everything, went home.
