Not work related, any stories there would be to easily recognizable by those who know me, however in my part time I also do some home PC repair work.

A friend of my g/f ends up developing an issue with her monitor, and g/f checks it out. Completely dead.

So, she convinces me to give up one of my spares, since the gal can't buy another. No problem, have plenty. They seem to collect like tribbles.

The friend picks up the monitor, takes it home, then calls saying that she can't see the top or bottom of websites. I figure its a resolution issue or something, but knowing her skills (or lack of) I am not about to explain it.

Make her wait 3 days till I can get over on the weekend.

Take a look and she's right, cant see top toolbar and bottom of pages that should be seeing them on.

Press F11, problem solved.
