I am so over this freaking holiday season. Call I got today:

Karen: Why the hell isn’t my package here??

Me: I’m so sorry ma’am, I can see it is moving and was just scanned yesterday so it is in its way, it’s just taking a bit longer due to the post office issues and the pandemic.

Karen: well WHY would you use the post office?? You knew this would happen, what would possibly cause you to use it?

Me: I’m not sure, we use them all year long and don’t usually have problems like this.

Karen: well why would you use them?? This is ridiculous? Why would you use them??

Me: I’m sorry ma’am, I don’t make those decisions, I answer calls and track packages.

Karen:.... Oh. Well I know YOU don’t, I just want to know why the higher ups decided this!!

It had a good ending because she calmed the eff down when I called her out, but good lord people, wtf??
