Lady you called Me!!!! Call started out normal, I work for an international clothing company and it was for a missing package. How we do reships is, we refund the original order and replace the order with expedited shipping for free.

So this character calls in this morning and everything is going normally until we get to the point that we are checking out.

Me: Perfect, thanks, and now if I can just get your credit card number you will be all set!

Crazy lady: Oh Shoot! I just realized I called you from my home number and they can steal my information, I don’t want to give that to you over my home phone. Can you call me back on my cell phone?

Me: Oh, I’m no, I’m sorry we are an inbound call center, I am unable to make outgoing calls.

CL: UGH. Well when my daughter was little we had a baby monitor in her room and we could hear our neighbors conversations so I don’t want to give you my credit card info. Can you prove you are from the company and not going to steal my number??

Me: Well ma’am, you called us, I’m just trying to help get your package to you quicker. If you don’t want to give me your card info I’m afraid I can’t complete the transaction.

CL: No! I still need the clothes! They are Christmas gifts!! I know, you wrote a note and I’ll call back on my cell to complete the transaction.

Me. Oookay, sure I can do that...

CL: WAIT! How do I know you’re really writing a note?

This went on for another couple of minutes before she finally hung up. I peeked into her account later and sure enough she called in on her cell to give us the cc number.
