I work for an international clothing company and it is so freaking busy right now after Black Friday and cyber Monday sales, and packages aren’t arriving when people think they should etc.

Along with that we have our usual customers who think they know how to scam the system and when they get these amazing deals they call in to try to do exchanges on more expensive items because the insane deal they got was only on certain items that are no longer available, due to the insane deal they were on.

The OTHER thing that drives me crazy is those that have multiple accounts so they can place multiple orders using one time only discounts and we have to go through 7 accounts before we can figure out which one she placed a particular order with. It tanks my AHT and is overall annoying.

Well today I got mumbling Karen, the queen of all of these offenses and also a freaking mumbler that I could barely understand. When I tell you this call was 26 minutes I’m not joking.

BUT. Guys. The account she ordered this particular order on, she somehow figured out how to place the order without using an email address, to skirt the system somehow. I honestly don’t know how she did it. But when searching for her account t she kind of laughed and said “I don’t use one” and wouldn’t verify info. I was able to pull it up with her billing address, but I literally couldn’t do anything, because the system kept throwing errors saying email address is required to do this or that. So she had to keep her 8 pairs of identical pants she bought for $5. And I realize she isn’t every person who does this but to be able to legitimately say there is nothing I can do and escalations wouldn’t even let me transfer her because there is actually NOTHING we can do gave me a little thrill of petty revenge today. Very satisfying I must say.
