So, since I'm working from home, and most places I hang out at have closed due to yet another Covid-19 outbreak, I decided to give Tales of Arise a try, due to the high reviews and the fact that it reminded me of Trails of Cold Steel somewhat, if only because of the art style - you can't really tackle a J-RPG without a whole lot of free time available.
However, the skill and title system, I didn't even know where to start with it, and this might be why I had a hard time with the first boss - I went all the way back to Tales of Phantasia to try and see if going back to the system's roots could've helped me (also because it's one of those games I'd always wanted to try anyway, after seeing it mentioned in a story about the old Nintendo/Sony deal actually going through) but, the character progression in the game has been very linear so far, the exact opposite from the latest chapter in the series.
So, I guess I wanted to know if there were a guide or walkthrough of the game with some tips regarding skills and titles, when playing the Trails games I usually collected some players' suggested builds and swapped them according to need, but in Arise once you buy something with your skill points it's permanent, you can't buy skill upgrades and spells and modify your setup depending on the situation.
Any takers?
