I'm interested in improving my 1.5 mile time. It's currently just under 11 minutes, and I need a 9 minute 1.5 mile. I have about 7-8 months to improve.
Based on your experience, would it be better to do base building and transition to the black plan from the original TB book, since the black template allows for 2-3 HIC sessions per week? Or would I be better served by doing Capacity and Velocity from Green Protocol, since it will help build my aerobic base and endurance more, and the 1.5 mile is a fairly aerobic event?
