advice please

Ive recently started fighter, with a cluster of 6 exercises including deadlifts. Its going well so far but i have bulging discs in my back due to a previous injury. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem while strength training and what their advice would be on deadlifts and rows, regarding whether or not i should keep training these 2 exercises because it will benefit me or if i should stop because im getting a sore back etc.
