I am aiming to increase my Beep/Shuttle test for entrance into a specialised unit. I am running OMS (6w-6w-3w) and am currently in the Specificity Alpha stage. As such, I am running the Beep test on the two "cardio/endurance days".
My question is, is the Beep Test suitable to be used during the M and S stages or is it detrimental to hypertrophy?
Also, considering, say Level 10 of the test is only approximately 12-minutes of work in total, is it sufficient or should I be doing something else that TB recommends as well on those cardio/endurance days?
