Is it worth buying ?

I want to buy TTS but i'm not sure should I do it because I don't have a lot of friends who are interested into buying this game ?
And what about their dlc policy about removing games from the workshop and selling them ( is it possible for that to happen to every game to become a dlc and be sold separately)
And is it easy to join games ?
The game looks great and i'm a huge fan of board games but these questions are in my head and would like answers.
