To those who have played The Sheriff of Nottingham, how would it scale up to 6 or 7 players?

The physical game only comes with pieces up to 5 but obviously with TTS we have the unique ability to have no physical limit on cards/pieces.
Has anyone played SoN with more than 5? Did you need any rule changes to make it work? Just glancing over the rules I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I thought I'd ask around.
