The year is 4e201. As if Ulfric Stormcloak's civil war hasn't destabilized Skyrim enough, more trouble is brewing in Skyrim that goes much deeper than simple politics. The Witch People and their Forsworn have grown bolder, leading a campaign across the Druadach mountains and terrorizing the Reach. A tribe of Daedra hunting zealots called the Silver Hand were recently chased from Eastmarch by the Companions. They have taken to killing Vigilants of Stendarr and daedra worshippers alike, even using daedra as weapons themselves, further ravaging the northern kingdom. A war between the Silver Hand and Witch People is breaking out across the Reach. You, the newest name in this chapter of Tamriel's history, are somewhere in Skyrim when you find yourself caught in the middle of the Silverhand's crusade against the Reachmen.
The theme is more grim, but there's room for lots of raunchy fun (or punishment, so expect noncon). The mood is serious though, much like the video game. In short, a quirky Dibellan cult or a horny barkeep can be expected, but also don't be shocked or surprised if some lonely bard or bandits actually try to rape you or if your favorite NPC is cut in half with a sickle or something. There will be more lore accuracies and less censorship than the video game and the world will be scaled up much more as well, so You can expect cities like Greenwall and Darkmoor to still exist, and the Witch People will actually be having their canonical spooky daedric rape rituals. I also want to keep any ERP less casual and purposeless, and not typically played for jokes. So please don't try to fuck every NPC or PC you meet just because, and then bog down the game and waste everyone's time. The desired balance is like 60% RP, 20% combat, 20% ERP. This is a story for people who love the writing aspect more than anything else.
We will be playing on discord alone and using avrae and whatever compatible character sheet you prefer, so you'll need to know how to use said tools. If you draw or use AI or whatever, illustrated scenes are fun and I encourage them. This is a play-by-post game. That said, you must post at least once or twice a day. Be very available. There are other people to consider, and you will be tossed if you waste their time, no questions asked. You must be dedicated too. I expect players in for the long haul. These are hard requirements. My longest current player has been around for over a year, and our relationship and writing styles have synced up nicely. I want to develop that with everyone.
Age doesn't matter to me, I can get along with you if you're 18 or if you're 50. Please be literate, but don't take 3 paragraphs to describe yourself lighting a candle (recall that bit before about respecting everyone else's time). Please god, no uwu weeb, furry, or stereotypical bimbo stuff. I don't mind if you're either of the three, but don't make a character that's going to take us out of an otherwise immersive game by trying to skin feats and abilities into super saiyan antics, or by filling your dialogue with stammering or something. Basically, no cartoony cringe. Anyway, I don't mind if you're newer to DnD either. Just remember that this is a game for people who love to write.
I do need you to be at least versed in some of the lore of TES. This is important to me for building your character especially. If you're a Dunmer, I'm 100% going to ask you if you belong to a great house or an ashland tribe, and then I'm gonna ask which one. If you're a Khajiit, I will ask you what subrace, and what you call the moons. If you're a Nord, I will ask you who Old-Knocker was and why Talos was named Stormcrown by the barbarians of Hrol'dan. This is for two reasons: 1.) Whoever you are, wherever you're from, I expect that character to have added dimensions from their home and their culture; and 2.) You will need to have an understanding of a daedra/aedra of your choosing for plot reasons. If you don't know too much, I need you to be ready to do homework.
If this sounds like something you're interested in, send me a chat. I know I didn't give much away, so if you have 856 questions, I have 856 answers. I'm open to giving a recap of the story so far.
In your message, I'd like you to tell me about yourself a little, why I piqued your interest, your age and sex, and what your favorite kinks/hard limits are (very important). I also want to know your favorite aedra or daedra, and on a scale of 1-10 how well you know TES lore. I wouldn't mind you pitching a character either. Aside from pitching a character, I will ignore you if you don't do all of these things. If you can't read basic instructions, I can't trust you can pay attention to a whole group of other players.
If I add you to my group, we will first be one on one, playing a short one-shot that leads up to you meeting up with the rest of the group. This will make it easier to deal with the loss of players who decide to leave early on.
Anyway, your kinks wont scare me off, I'm not easy to upset, and I really care about dedicated players. I currently have one player left after a hiatus, but don't worry about being out of the loop. I can answer any questions and will do everything I can to make joining us as un-intimidating as possible.
