I finally have the board game I've been working on in a place where it is ready for blind playtesting. The game can be played with 2-4 players, if you have some time, I'm looking for people to play it to give the rulebook a thorough vetting.
Edit: If you would rather do a rulebook exchange with me instead of committing to playing through a game, I'm open to that as well (feel free to either comment or DM me).
As a quick summary, in the first phase players lay tiles down to build the map of an archipelago that they will play on (visit on vacation) in the second phase. During the second phase players collect tokens across the map based on there player interests and in doing so collect points, most points wins. More information can be found in the rulebook link below.
I've put it up on Tabletopia, and am working on potentially putting it in to Tabletop Simulator as well. When I played on Tabletopia it took us (2 player game) about 1.5 hours for each phase (it has been about half of that time in person). But obviously we were more familiar with the rules so a new player might have a longer experience. It definitely sped up as we got more comfortable with the interface.
Anyway, if you are interested, you can find it here:
As a note, I definitely did too much work on the look of the rulebook, but I was having fun doing it, so please don't worry about holding back with your comments. Feedback is 100% appreciated.
If you do end up playing could you fill out this survey? Just as a note, one of the questions asks how much money each player took out of the Map Building Phase, and a couple ask to approximate the duration of each phase. We're also asking for a screenshot of the final situation after you're done on Tabletopia
Not sure how useful this will be but here I've setup a Discord Server to help people organize should you need to find others to play.
Thanks so much for your help.
I'm new to this, so please let me know if anything additional would be helpful for playtesting purposes.
