Brainstorming: Keeping track of who played a tile
Post Body

I'm kicking around an idea for a tile-laying game where tiles would be played to a central map and everybody can use the tiles, but it's important to know who played them. What all options are there for keeping track of that information?

I'm imagining card-sized tiles, so sleeves are a possibility, and so the things I can think of so far are:

  • having pre-decorated sleeves per player, or something else you insert to a sleeve (I think Edge of Darkness does something like this)
  • dry-erase marking on sleeves
  • some sort of obvious but unobtrusive chit (I believe Palace of Mad King Ludwig uses something akin to this)

Any other things I might want to consider?
