Post Body

Hi guys. Long time lurker, first time poster. So, I have this idea for what I hope is a unique game and I was hoping to get some feedback as to whether this game mechanic seems like it would work or is too convoluted. The basic idea is that the player encounters creatures with a type based on the seven deadly sins and must battle them using either sexual innuendo or scathing insults depending on those types. Obviously, the target audience is mature... well, sort of. There are three levels of monsters: Green Level 1-5, Yellow Level 6-10 and Red Level 11-15. The difference in your Level and the Level of the creature you are trying to battle determines how potent the insult/innuendo you use must be. If the creature's Level is 5 or lower than yours, the insult/innuendo must be bad/cheesy. If it is 5 or more levels higher, it must be spectacular. Everything else should be the best you can do. The type of creature determines whether you must throw an insult or innuendo. It is up to the other players to judge whether your insult/innuendo is effective or not based on their initial reaction to the comment. The intent here is to create an fun, party type game that incorporates traditional board game elements, roleplaying aspects and terrible/awesome humor, and although the idea sounds great in my head, it's always best to have a second opinion. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
