Hello,
I'm designing a game where multiple players will select a pilot, then build a custom Mech and then go on a hunt for a player controlled Kaiju.
The design for the pilots and mech parts are going very well, however, I'm having issues with the Kaiju portion of the game.
In essence, after custom building the Mech, the players will all join forces and explore a city they'll create via tiles (similar to the first stage of Betrayal: House on the hill) until the Kaiju is discovered. The Kaiju gets a deck of cards to draw from with abilities and armor and such. The Pilots only get the mechs at the start of the game and trophies they earn from hurting the Kaiju which can be spent on upgrades.
The thing I'm struggling with is how the single Kaiju player should be balanced against the multiple Pilots. I want to adjust it so a single Pilot could fight a single Kaiju, or multiple Pilots could all join together against the Kaiju and it remain balanced. Any thoughts/questions?
