Hey y’all, trying to come up with a solution to a problem we’re trying to solve at work

Our dataset has 2 time-based columns, Fiscal Year and Fiscal Month. They are both integer columns, with the month column being between 1 and 12 and the year column having 2019-2023.

The problem is that we want to get the latest month number in the entire dataset as a constant, that we can use to set a parameter when the dashboard opens.

For example, the latest date we have is 2023 3 (March 2023). If I were to just take the max month though, it would grab 12 because 2022 has all 12 months worth of data.

I have come up with a “viable” solution but don’t have my laptop so I can’t post it here. Curious to see how others would approach this problem
