I recognize that I'm probably an old soul in this regard, but I really love connecting with people over long-form letter-esque messages. Messages where we talk about all of our favorite things - the books we're reading, the shows we're watching, anime we're looking forward to, games we're excited to play. Maybe I share a poem or a song that made me think of you in the message - maybe you do the same for me. Such messages may not be sent every day - maybe once a week or two - but when we get them, our heart swell - the same starry rush of excitement that rises in your chest when you see a comet or a falling star. "Oh, they've returned! And so our warm exchange continues..."
