I'm not sure where to share this, so I uploaded it to AO3 here if anyone would like to read it.
It's a short (2751 word) character study piece, based on a randomiser prompt: "Create an audio log, captain's log, or journal entry for a character".
The Midwives continue to scare the hell out of me to this day, so naturally, I wrote some Audio Log type "entries" from the point of view of one of the nursing staff who eventually gets turned into a Midwife.
