So we’ve been looking at options for tool chains.

Here’s the thing. We intend to do a lot of physical modeling in Matlab, and at same time it’s be ideal if we could create our entire system model in mathworks to avoid having to deal with interoperability. Mathworks has “System Composer” which seems like it does a lot of what the typical SysML tools do, but not everything. It doesn’t have use case diagrams or activity diagrams. It does have sequence diagrams and state machines.

Anyone see limitations with this approach? Couldn’t I find a way to use sequence diagrams for my activity diagrams if absolutely needed?
