I've been tasked with upgrading an offline lab from 1809 to 1909 via GPO and 100% silent/automatically. We don't have WSUS or WPS but it is AD. I've got everything working to the point where if I run the .ps1 from the sysvol location it'll run perfect but no matter if I use machine startup or user log in startup sections in GOP it starts setup and runs for 3-5 minutes then hangs at the same place no matter what I change. I'm kicking it off with Start-Process and I can c$ and see the logs but can't make heads or tales of all the CSetupManager and MOUP INFO/Warning/Error lines that Setup generates. I'm home now and can't provide logs and don't have specific errors I'm just looking for suggestions and tips as to what's happening differently from manually running this script vs automagically?
EDIT: Never did get it working to automatically push from GPO. But have it working 100% when someone kicks it off manually. I ran into a time crunch and this method was always a fall back option so have to move on.
