Hi guys. I'm a bit stumped here. Due to Covid-19 etc, we need to work from home on the verge of lock down. Here's my issue:
I can't vpn into work with my admin account because my admin account get locked out for incorrect password attempts on the domain. This transpires to be caused because I logged onto a pc in a very small remote office and obviously never logged out properly, probably just 'x' d' out (guilty), then a week ago, I changed my password so obviously it's this machine that is causing my lockouts. anyway, I am going into the office tomorrow so that I am on the network, then I'll get a colleague admin to unlock my account. For some reason I can't rdp to this machine but it would appear that it needs someone in there to power cycle it which isn't going to happen. Anyway - seen as I can't see this machine, can anyone suggest a way that I could stop my account from trying to log into it? I will only have a short time in the office so need to resolve so I can work from home. Thanks in advance guys.
