I have had my business emails hosted by my own domain for some time. I am not sure if this was always a problem, but I have noted that in the last 6 months many messages from my address go to the recipient's spam folder. This is increasingly a problem as I am beginning to offer commercial services.
I have checked my domain and it is not on any spam list, listed here:
https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=blacklist:4b.rs&run=toolpage
Neither is the IP address.
Some other details. The TLD is an eastern European one, though the country is not noted for spam, i.e. it's not Russia, Ukraine or Belarus.
The domain I use for emails is not the same as my established (Alexa top 20K) domain.
I send the emails from my computer using Thunderbird, not on a VPN.
Here is an example of email headers I send (redacted):
Subject: Your Message ...
To: Name Surname <[user[at]gmail.com](mailto:[email protected])>
References: <[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])ld>
From: "MyDomain.tld" <[mail[at]m](mailto:[email protected])ydomain.tld>
Message-ID: <[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])ld>
Date: Mon, 4 Nov 2019 21:09:30 0300
MIME-Version: 1.0
In-Reply-To: <[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])ld>
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
All the messages contain the user's IP, network, location and user agent
Also: Any recommendations for email hosts? I was looking at ProtonMail for $75/year, but I read they respond to government requests for data; and I would really prefer not to have all my data sitting on a remote server.
