Dell Latitude 7000 series Cellular Options

I have a client who is headstrong in getting a laptop with cellular capabilities in it. We're a reseller with Dell and found the Latitude 7000 series laptops have the capabilities, but we have little experience with them. Can anyone give me some info on this, their experience with it, and if there's any nuances I should look out for? Also, do they need a carrier specified? Or does that not matter and it's all dependent on the SIM card?
