I ran into this issue last week when I screwed up my dmarc record. I had it configured to only monitor no rejection or quarantine, but I screwed up the rua portion of the record. This was causing a permerror (when analyzing headers), I can't find any documentation on this error but as soon as I fixed my incorrect record email was working appropriately.
My question is, if I create a dmarc record that is only set to monitor but has a record format error. Does that cause emails to be quarantined or rejected?
