is there a way to make a wifi network that is totally separate from the company intranet. so it can be policy free and anyone can go to any site using any tool they would like. We are an investment arm of a large organization so our IT needs are based on said organization.
Their IT security is ridiculous. only pre cataloged sites can be entered, no site with cloud services is allowed to be opened, USB drives are not allowed, DVD is not allowed to be read on the computer. VBA in excel is not allowed to be used. adding work email to my personal computer is not allowed. and the list goes on.
so for that, we want to use devices that are not under their domain. so we can run VBA for Financial data. also, we need it when guests come and want to use the internet to show us anything. so I want a solution that I can say listen, guys, you can do this right and it's totally safe for your network right. we are dying here LOL
