I'm running backups and for two consecutive months VSS writer hasn't been able to run shadow copies due to lack of disk space on the antivirus server. Right now, it's down to ~400MB. Last month I had recovered around 5Gb of space but it's gone.
It's a virtual server so size can be increased but I'm wondering if a solution other than increasing size will work. As of now, the Symantec folder in \Program Files (x86)\ is taking up 63GB. That seems excessive.
Found a few articles on SEPM and disk space management so am going thru them now which talks about size reduction.
What's best practices for SEPM server size, GB wise? I've got a few TB of space but shouldn't 100GB be enough?
