How to become a Sysadmin on paper
Post Body

Hi everyone. New account due to some unforeseen circumstances. I have 20 years in IT as a field service engineer in IT and Telecoms. I have been in a more managerial role for the last few years which isn't my area, I didn't like it as it was very hands off, and due to events that I can't get into right now, I am basically unemployed for the first time in my life.

The problem is, I've never had the time to get all of my certs as I've been just getting on with work. Now I have some time on my hands and I want to get on top of my certs, and I'd like to know what people think are the top 5 (or so) certifications that I should be looking for as sysadmin. (or Network Admin). I have a strong interest in Pen Test as well but I believe that Pen Test may be a bit too specific for the geographical area where I live. Any help would be fantastic
