A the title says, I'm currently looking for an AP Mesh recommendation. In November, my company is having a User Conference at Disney World with about 500-600 users who will actively be using our internet.
For internet access we have 8 Cradlepoints set up with 4G access. How it worked last year was that we had 8 different SSID's and depending on what room/ area you were in, you connected to that Cradlepoint.
This year, we want a simpler solution. We are still using the Cradlepoints as gateways, and they pull 12mbps down, but we want them to all mesh into a single network. We found open-mesh.com and see that they support plugging in an access point to each different gateway but what we want to do, is have each gateway funneling its own internet connection into the access points in case one gateway goes down than the other AP's will use the next gateway.
We want this all working in a singular mesh network. Is this possible? (From what we've read about open-mesh it is.) and if so, what products can I do this with somewhat cheap and conveniently?
