Am I missing out by not knowing or keeping up with azure?

I've never used Azure, accept as part of o365.
Anytime in the past the org I worked for looked at "cloud" services, it was always more expensive and never happened.
I've not even dipped my toes into the azure pool.
Today I was looking at file storage pricing and struggled to figure out what we'd pay for 4tb of file shares and realized just how little I know about azure.
